**ROYALTY FREE MUSIC PROVIDED BY KEVIN MACLEOD WWW.INCOMPETECH.COM** **Special Thanks to Roxio for providing the demo unit. ReviewTechUSA did not receive any financial compensation for this review.** It seems that ever since video sharing sites such as YouTube and Blip became popular, Independent reviewers have been posting game reviews and online multiplayer commentaries. However, the problem that still remains is most USB HD solutions are still hovering around the 200 dollar mark, PCI-Express HD capture devices require tons of raw PC horsepower and only work with desktop PCs and entry level capture devices only offer murky 480i capture quality and don’t allow you to play your games in high definition. Roxio claims to remedy all these problems with their new device called the “Roxio Game Cap”. It allows players to enjoy their games in HD while capturing footage, Records in 480p via component cables which offer the best analog signal and comes with a full featured editing suite called “VideoWave”. After using this device for over a week straight I really feel that for the price and the features that it brings to the table it can’t be touched, but I did include ton’s of game footage and a thorough overview of all the features the “Roxio Game Cap” offers so you can make your own decision on if this capture card is worth 100 dollars of your hard earned money. So sit back, relax and enjoy the review!
